High-level interaction and marketing intelligence on the inaugural customer tour to Texas organised by the Currie Group.

HP Indigo customers in Australia and New Zealand now have the opportunity to participate in DSCOOP, the dedicated cooperative of Indigo users from around the world. The high-powered international organisation has recently opened its doors for business members in the Asia-Pacific region.

To celebrate, the Currie Group and HP are working together to put together a tour of Indigo users to the 5th annual conference on 18-20 February 2010 in Dallas, Texas.  The tour will take in a number of key customer visits in different strategic business sectors, such as commercial print, direct mail, commercial print, label and packaging, both in the USA and on the way to the conference.

According to Phillip Rennell, digital manager, Currie Group, the tour will be an amazing opportunity for HP Indigo users to share insights and experience with their peers and learn world’s best practice in digital print production.

“This is going to be a very worthwhile exercise for our customers. Our plan is to make it easy for HP Indigo users to attend this important event by providing special assistance and coordinating all the travel and registration arrangements.

“There is a huge benefit for HP Indigo users in being able to participate in DSCOOP. In Australia and NZ we don’t have the breadth and depth of markets like USA or Europe, so it is important to participate in as many market areas a possible in order to drive bottom line results.  DSCOOP will be the portal to many new markets and experiences,“ he said.

Shane Lucas Director, HP Graphic Arts South Pacific said Dscoop
presented a tremendous opportunity for HP Indigo customers. "The fact that we now have an Asia-Pacific focus for Dscoop gives customers in our region the ability to easily tap into the latest thinking, solutions and trends and
to discuss business issues and opportunities with peers in their own
region,” he said.

The DSCOOP conference is a packed program with more than 90 sessions in business and sales, operations, label and packaging, and breakthrough partner solution tracks. In addition, it will feature large-format sessions focused on helping commercial printers increase their service offerings and profit margins.

Social activities will take place during the conference to ensure ample networking opportunities, including lunch roundtables to brainstorm ideas for universal challenges. Check out DSCOOP on the web.

“HP Indigo users that join the tour will be able to gain insights into emerging trends.  I’m sure some of our customers will also be contributing their experiences enabling others to gain from them also. DSCOOP is a cooperative of users with participants committed to improving their businesses by learning from others.”

HP Indigo users in the region can learn more about the special assistance packages to attend the fifth DSCOOP Conference in Dallas by emailing here for more information.
