Jobs of the week: Manufacturing Manager - Printing, Victoria

Finsbury Green is Australia's leading environmental, printing and solutions group, using clean efficient processes and serving customers for over 35 years.  Currently the group employs around 220 people and is located in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.


The business continues to deliver on its significant growth strategy and as such has a requirement to appoint an intelligent manager to help build on its current manufacturing performance.


Responsibilities would include:

  • Maximising the efficiency and utilisation of the manufacturing department.

  • Ensuring all products manufactured internally and externally are of a high standard.

  • Recommending, developing and implementation of production plans, costs savings and productivity improvements.

  • Financial responsibility for division.

  • Initiation of corrective and preventative action that may affect the quality of products.

  • Promoting a clean and safe work environment conforming to Finsbury Green's recycling procedures.

  • Demonstrating leadership and a positive attitude towards your work, through encouragement and good communication.

  • Overseeing the employment and termination of all manufacturing staff.

  • Recommending and implementation of staff training.

     
    Applicants should have strong leadership and communication skills.  An ability to understand customer's needs and change management is also pivotal.
