Long-time industry identity, Steve Dunwell, is the new face of manroland in Australia New Zealand.

After years at the Currie Group, Dunwell (pictured) is taking on the role as managing director at mandroland. Praised by the company for his skills as a “hands-on manager”, Dunwell will now drive manroland’s presence further in the local market.

“In order to meet the challenges faced by the industry in a dynamic and sustainable manner, manroland Australasia will strengthen its focus on the market, customers and service, enabling us to respond even faster and more efficiently,” Dunwell said.

Since 1 June this year, manroland Australasia has been fully owned by manroland AG after ending its previous partnership with MAN Ferrostaal, which was responsible for sales and services.

One of Dunwell’s main goals is to replicate manroland’s worldwide reputation with sales and marketing. “We are now bolstering the already strong manroland team for the long-term future. The start of this new sales and service organisation has opened up new favourable prospects for the company and thus for manroland’s customers,” he said.

In his lengthy career in the printing industry, Dunwell has held positions of managing director, sales and marketing director and, for the past six years, was state manager with the Currie Group.
